Analysis built from the record.
Every factual claim in a Daybreak publication cites a holding identifier or an external primary source with a link. Publications are versioned, dated, and corrected in public.
Daybreak Briefs
Short, numbered analyses of a single question, built from named holdings.
Daybreak Reports
Long-form analysis across a collection, with full citation tables.
Daybreak Primers
Plain-language explainers and timelines for general readers and classrooms.
Publications
No publications yet. The first Daybreak Brief will be listed here with its date, version, author, and the holdings it cites.
Standards
Daybreak states what the documents show, cites the holding, and stops. Publications do not characterize motives, predict outcomes, or take positions on candidates or legislation. Where the evidence is incomplete or contradictory, the publication says so.
Corrections are published on the same page as the original, dated, with the change described. Reviewers are named. The editorial standard will be published here as a versioned document.
