Keep the record where anyone can check it.

Records are scattered across agencies, inboxes, and dockets, and some are no longer where they were published. The Daybreak Project gathers them, verifies them, and publishes them with a permanent identifier and a hash that anyone can confirm. Recurring supporters make that work steady.

What gifts fund

Records acquisition, including public records request fees. Authentication and custody documentation. Hosting, redundant storage, and timestamping. Research and publication. Administrative cost is kept to the minimum and reported annually.

No exclusive access. Supporters receive the quarterly intake report and early access to briefs. They do not influence what the archive holds or publishes. On the record.
