The Daybreak Project
Accountability

Evidence services to any public authority, on request and on the record.

Daybreak Evidence Services provides authenticated records, custody documentation, and declarations of authenticity to any public authority, court, or counsel of record. The same records, in the same form, at no cost, to every requester.

What we provide

Certified copies with hash and custody log. Declarations of authenticity. Exhibit-ready sets with Bates-style numbering. An index of holdings by topic.

Who may request

State attorneys general. Federal and state legislative committees. Inspectors general. Courts and counsel of record. Journalists, for public records.

Terms

No cost. No exclusive access. Requests and fulfilments are logged and summarized publicly each quarter by requester class. Daybreak does not provide expert testimony; it provides records.

Request records

Requests are answered by email. No third-party form service is used; this form opens a message in your mail client addressed to evidence@daybreakproject.org.

Public register of requests

A quarterly summary of requests received and fulfilled, by requester class, without naming the requester unless the matter is already public. The register demonstrates that every requester is treated alike.

No requests received yet.

Public matters

Matters in which Daybreak records have been entered on a public docket, with the docket reference. Nothing is listed until it is public.
